What Should Someone Do Who Wants to Sleep and Can’t? Sleep is one of the most important things for human health.

The hours a person spends sleeping depend on age.  Babies sleep up to 16 hours a day.  For health, an adult should get Up to 8 (7-9) hours of sleep a day.

The human brain goes through different stages during sleep.  During this sleep, the mind renews itself, builds itself up, and makes room for the memories of what it has seen and heard.

Adequate sleep is also important for overall health.

  A person who does not get enough sleep is more likely to develop high blood pressure-related diseases that affect the brain and heart.

What if a person wants to sleep but can’t sleep and what does he do to increase his chances of falling asleep?

– Going to bed at the same time in the evening.
– Drink warm milk, if available, before going to bed.

– Wash your body with warm water before going to bed.
– Sleep reading different books.
– Not looking at the clock right now.
– Eat light meals if you are eating too much or bulky food before going to bed.

– Keep music and other noisy things away.
– For those who like to listen to music, go to bed listening to classical.
– Post pictures of their favorite places in their bedroom.
– Remove the lights from your own bedroom.
– Avoid coffee and the like (which stimulate the body) before going to bed.
– Exercise before going to bed.

If we apply the above twelve points properly, our chances of falling asleep early will be higher.
